Getting to know AnimeByAI

As of now, February 2025, the site is continually being updated. As things change, so will this page.

Intro

If you just want some quick questions answered or still have some questions after reading, have a look at the FAQ: F.A.Q.

At first glance AnimeByAI appears to be an image gallery dedicated to Anime/Hentai pictures generated by AI. This is true, but it’s not the whole picture…

AnimeByAI first started on DeviantArt as a testbed for trying out different checkpoints/models, specifically SDXL/Pony. Images were posted to gain feedback and keep track of everything. However, not all of the images could be added. Sexually explicit images could not be posted without a paywall, which is why this site was created.

Information about the resources used to generate images such as prompts, models, and specific to Pony, tag information, can be found along with the images.

Images posted can be seen as examples of what different prompts, tags, and models can achieve. The images themselves are a product of these things. No editing has been done or LoRAs used so images might have artifacts and other errors, though there is some selection in picking out the “better” images, (since this is also an image gallery!). If you spend enough time going through the different images and taking note of the models used, you may notice which models may be better suited for a type of image.

Overall, AnimeByAI is an image gallery and information hub. A place to quickly find some information and inspiration.

Thanks for visiting!

This was made using the desktop view. The mobile view works similarly but it uses a collapsed menu instead of a navbar for accessing sections.

Hopefully the site isn’t difficult to use, but admittedly the site acts a bit differently than a traditional image gallery site, for the reasons mentioned in the intro. For this reason, this quick guide was put together to showcase the general usage of AnimeByAI. As always, feedback is welcomed through our contact channels.

On the home page, you can click ‘View Images’ to begin viewing images or simply click a menu item at the top. In this case, we will click ‘View Images’.

This will lead to different collections of images. Here we are focusing on the latest images.

Clicking on an image will lead to the image page. Most will have 3 images, but some may only have 1 or 2.

You can click an image to enlarge it and bring it to a solo view. Clicking it again will return to the default view.

Right under the navbar, there will be the name of the section the image is in. Clicking the name will lead to more images under that section.

Back on the image page, the model used to generate the image(s) will be displayed right above the image(s), if available. Clicking the name of the model will link to the site where the model is hosted (on Civitai.com).

Right under the image(s), tags will be displayed. These make up the prompt.

To quickly save the prompt for use, you can click the icon at the top right of the tags. This will copy the prompt to your clipboard, which can be easily pasted on an image generator.

Clicking a tag, will lead to the tag page. This will show all the images (starting from the latest) that use that tag. Right under the tag name, there will be a link to detailed information about the tag, which is found on danbooru.

A common way to look for images is using tags. The home page lists the most popular tags and clicking a tag will link to more images using it. If you want to see all the tags that are on the site, you can visit the all tags page: All tags

A more streamlined approach to looking for images/prompts is through the navbar itself. Images are sorted in terms of main focus/theme.

This is more general and not as specific as using tags, but it can provide better continuity if only looking at images within that focus/theme.

You can also search for images, using the search function on the navbar. Note that this only works for images, not pages.

If you like an image, consider giving it a like!

Want to check out the most liked images? From the home page, click ‘View Images’.

Additional Information

Although this site was primarily created with the idea of sharing ideas and resources with others who are working on generating images, it has been taken into account that others may be starting out and wanting to try out this process.

A quick guide has been put together that has links to other resources that can be used to help with generating images: Generating images

Many of the images found on the deviantart page have been added here (some with extra images), but there are still some that are only on the page if you want to check that out: https://www.deviantart.com/animebyai

To support this site, we are opening areas on the site for advertisements. If you would like to place an ad, please contact us using the information in the next section.
